The draw has been made for the FA Cup Semi-Finals, to be held at Wembley.
5th April
Barnsley vs Cardiff
6th April
West Bromwich Albion vs Portsmouth
This has been a great FA Cup, finally a set of Semi-finals with no sign of any of the dominant top four! I’m hoping for a Barnsley win over Cardiff, Portsmouth to beat WBA and the cup to go to Barnsley.
My motivation for hoping Portsmouth make the final is that Barnsley’s outstanding goalkeeper Luke Steele would be unable to play in the final if West Brom go through, as he is West Brom’s player and would therefore be ineligible for selection. He played such a big part in getting them this far, that would just be unfair!
