So, Beckham gets the chance to earn his 100th cap. There’s the captaincy debate as well, I imagine he’ll go for Terry again, though Gerrard obviously has a good shout for it. I’m surprised at the inclusion of Wayne Bridge ahead of Nicky Shorey- Bridge isn’t playing week-in, week-out.
Also, based on current form I think it’s harsh that Carson was picked ahead of Robert Green. Granted West Ham have been shipping goals of late but not many could be attributed to Green making errors, his team just can’t mark for toffee at the moment.
